Motorcolor Southampton is an independent professional vehicle repair bodyshop capable of repairing any vehicle, however we are approved for many insurance companies meaning we can begin work on your vehicle imediately, without having to wait for authorisation.
As an independant repairer, we hear a lot of horror stories about other garages, and often get asked to rectify poor quality repairs. We feel it is important to show that not all garages are the same and have joined the buy with confidence scheme initiated by Hampshire County Council. Being part of this scheme means that we are subjected to stringent checks by Trading Standards staff to ensure our trustworthiness and compliance with the law. On top of this we have taken it upon ourselves to apply for certain manufacturer approvals, at present these include:
Jaguar
Land Rover
Mazda
Fiat
In order to gain these approvals, a representative from the manufacturer visits the workshop to ensurer that, amongst other things, the repairs are up to the highest standards, the correct paint and materials are used so as not to invalidate any warranty on your vehicle and that comprehensive procedures are followed and detailed estimates can be provided.
Due to being approved with the National Farmers Union we have become specialists in repairing all 4X4 working vehicles and have one of a few Jigs capable of straightening their heavy duty chassis'.
We are also specialists in repairing Renault and Honda vehicles due to our local dealers sending us large quantities of work.
